Holy Family Church: Recognized as a “Green Champion”
We are thrilled to announce that Holy Family Church has been awarded a Certificate of Appreciation by Project Mumbai and Larsen & Toubro (L&T) for our dedicated participation in the 2025–2026 Plastic Recyclothon. This recognition marks a significant milestone in our community’s ongoing commitment to environmental stewardship and social responsibility.
Through the collective efforts of our parishioners, we successfully collected and donated 507.5 KG of plastic waste. This massive contribution—over half a ton—has been diverted from landfills and oceans, directly supporting the mission to build a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable Mumbai. Being named a “Green Champion” is a testament to the power of our everyday actions when we work together toward a common goal.
A Message of Gratitude
We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to every member of the congregation who took the time to sort, wash, and bring in their plastic waste. Special thanks also go to:
- Project Mumbai: For their vision of “People. Purpose. Positive Change.”
- L&T Energy Hydrocarbon: For partnering in this vital public service initiative.
