Communication, research and advocacy on environmental issues are a great way to keep the momentum going in our care for our common home. We urgently need research on the effects of our technology and lifestyles on Mother Earth and on ways to rejuvenate nature.
Our adivasis have much to teach us about nature and ethnobotanical studies for reviving forest biodiversity to address climate change and distress migration, is one example of urgent research needs. Communicating this in an effective and widespread manner is crucial for people to give up their addictions. And advocacy with government and policy-makers is important, as public policy should not be abandoned to those commercial interests that profit from the status quo.
